Before submitting your application, please complete these two important steps:
Step 1: Review the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Please review our Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions to make sure the program is a good fit for you. By submitting this application, you agree to the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions.
Step 2: Check Starter Kit Product Availability
Before applying, please visit our website and make sure the tile set and mat you would like for your Affiliate Starter Kit are currently in stock and available to purchase.
Please wait to apply if the tile set or mat you want is currently sold out.
If approved, you will have 14 days to complete your onboarding requirements, including purchasing your Starter Kit. We will not be able to hold or extend applications while waiting for a restock.
Because inventory and restock timing can change, we are unable to provide individual inventory updates or restock estimates. If the product you want is unavailable, simply sign up for the “Notify Me” alert on the product page and apply once it is back in stock!
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Once you have reviewed the Terms & Conditions and confirmed that the products you want for your Starter Kit are in stock, you’re ready to apply!
If approved, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions to complete your account setup and officially activate your Bespoke Mahjong affiliate account.
Affiliate Program Overview
Approved and activated affiliates receive:
• A unique affiliate code to share with customers
• 10% commission on qualifying product purchases
• 5% commission on qualifying table purchases
• A 20% discount on Affiliate Starter Kit
• A 20% personal-use discount on eligible products
• 10% off eligible Laguna Tables using the designated table discount code
Customers receive 10% off eligible products when using an affiliate’s unique discount code at checkout.
Affiliate Program FAQ
Do I need to purchase an Affiliate Starter Kit?
Yes. Approved affiliates must purchase a qualifying Affiliate Starter Kit within 14 days of approval.
A qualifying Starter Kit includes:
• One qualifying full-size Mahjong tile set
• One Mahjong mat
Both items must be purchased together in one transaction using the Starter Kit code provided in your acceptance email. The order must ship to the affiliate address on file.
Travel Kits, gift certificates, sale items, prior purchases, third-party purchases, and sold-out products do not qualify toward the Starter Kit requirement.
What if the products I want are sold out?
If you have specific products in mind for your Starter Kit, please wait to apply until both qualifying products are in stock and you are prepared to purchase them within 14 days of approval.
We cannot hold or extend applications, reserve products, monitor inventory for individual applicants, or provide individual restock updates. The best way to monitor availability is through our website and the “Notify Me” feature on the applicable product page.
What do I need to complete within 14 days?
Approved applicants must complete all of the following within 14 days of approval:
• Complete their UpPromote registration
• Purchase a qualifying Affiliate Starter Kit
• Upload a valid W-9 directly to their affiliate dashboard
• Review and agree to the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Completing only one or some of these requirements does not activate an affiliate account.
What happens if I do not complete the requirements within 14 days?
Accounts that do not complete all onboarding requirements within 14 days will be removed from the affiliate system. Applications cannot be held or extended because of unavailable products or incomplete onboarding.
If you would like to join after your account has been removed, you will need to submit a new application and complete the onboarding requirements in effect at that time.
When does my affiliate account become active?
Your affiliate account and discounts become active only after all onboarding requirements have been completed and your account has been officially activated.
Until then, your account will remain pending, and you may not begin promoting Bespoke Mahjong as an affiliate or participate in affiliate discounts, commissions, or other program benefits.
Do past purchases count toward the Starter Kit requirement?
No. The Starter Kit must be purchased after affiliate approval using the unique Starter Kit code provided in your acceptance email. Previous purchases and purchases made through third parties cannot be applied retroactively.
Do affiliates receive a personal discount?
Yes. Activated affiliates receive 20% off eligible products purchased for their own personal use.
The personal affiliate discount does not apply to:
• Automatic tables
• Sale items
• Licensed or collaboration XL Mega Tile Set upgrades
• Acrylic rack upgrades added to a Laguna Table order
• Gift certificates
• Other products designated as excluded by Bespoke Mahjong
Affiliates may also receive 10% off eligible Laguna Tables using the designated table discount code. Please contact us directly before purchasing a table so we can assist you with the correct ordering process.
Licensed or collaboration Laguna Table bundles and certain upgrades are not eligible for affiliate discounts.
Can I share my personal affiliate discount?
No. Your personal affiliate discount is for your use only. It may not be shared publicly or used to make purchases for customers, clients, household members, or other third parties.
Products purchased with a personal affiliate discount may not be purchased for resale or transferred to another buyer.
Can I earn commission on my own purchases?
No. Affiliates may not earn commission on purchases made for their own use, including orders placed using the affiliate’s email address, payment method, shipping address, or household members.
Please use your designated personal affiliate discount when making eligible personal purchases.
How do commissions work?
Affiliates earn:
• 10% commission on eligible product purchases
• 5% commission on eligible table purchases
Customers receive 10% off eligible products when they use your unique affiliate code at checkout.
The code must be used at the time of purchase. Orders cannot be retroactively credited if the affiliate code or referral link was not used.
Commissions are not available on wholesale orders, sale or promotional items, gift certificates, orders using another promotional discount, or House of Mahjong open play, classes, tournaments, memberships, events, or products purchased in connection with those events.
Certain limited-edition products, collaborations, launches, or promotional events may also be excluded or offered at a modified commission rate.
Returned, refunded, canceled, or charged-back orders are not eligible for commission.
When are commissions paid?
Commissions are processed quarterly through PayPal or Bespoke Mahjong store credit.
Payouts begin processing after the close of each calendar quarter:
• Q1 payouts begin processing in early April
• Q2 payouts begin processing in early July
• Q3 payouts begin processing in early October
• Q4 payouts begin processing in early January
Orders must be completed, fulfilled, delivered, and cleared of any applicable return or refund period before the commission becomes eligible for payout. Orders that have not cleared this period by the quarterly cutoff will roll forward to the following payout cycle.
Beginning with the Q4 payout processed in January 2027, affiliates must have a minimum eligible commission balance of $100 to receive a payout. Balances below $100 will automatically carry forward until the minimum threshold is reached.
Can affiliate codes be combined with other promotions or store credit?
No. Affiliate discount codes may not be combined with store credit, promotional codes, or other offers unless specifically permitted by Bespoke Mahjong.
Only one discount or credit may be used per order.
How do I use my store credit?
Once store credit has been issued during the applicable quarterly payout cycle, log into your affiliate dashboard and click “Use your credit.” This will generate a coupon code that can be applied at checkout.
Store credit cannot be combined with an affiliate discount or promotional code, cannot be used on sale items, and must be applied at checkout. It cannot be applied after a purchase has been completed.
Can I have both a wholesale account and an affiliate account?
No. Partners may participate in only one program at a time. Wholesale accounts and affiliate accounts cannot be combined.
If you move to a wholesale account, your affiliate account will be closed. If a wholesale partner wishes to become an affiliate, the wholesale account must first be deactivated.
Affiliate discounts may not be used for resale, client purchases, or business inventory.
Is the Affiliate Program available outside the United States?
No. At this time, the Bespoke Mahjong Affiliate Program is available only to U.S.-based affiliates.
Affiliates must maintain a valid U.S. address and provide all required U.S. tax documentation, including a completed W-9.
Can I email my W-9 to you?
No. For security and processing purposes, your W-9 must be uploaded directly to your UpPromote affiliate dashboard. We cannot accept W-9 forms by email.
I’m having trouble uploading my W-9—what should I do?
When completing the tax information in your dashboard, make sure you select “Yes” when asked if you are a U.S. citizen. This will prompt the next screen, where you can complete the remaining information and upload your W-9.
If you’re still having trouble, these tips may help:
• Make sure your file is saved as a PDF or JPG
• Make sure the file size is under 2MB (2000KB)
• If the file is too large, try re-saving it as a PDF or taking a new photo
• When scanning, choose medium resolution instead of high resolution
• Use a scanning app such as Adobe Scan or CamScanner to create a smaller file
• If uploading from your phone isn’t working, try a computer or a different browser
• Make sure the name on your W-9 matches the legal name on your affiliate account

You can access your affiliate dashboard through the link provided in your acceptance email. If you’re unable to locate the link, please reach out and we’ll be happy to resend it.
